Great Rehearsal!
Great rehearsal today guys! We made a lot of progress with our songs!
Here is the link to PS22 Singing Viva La Vida!
We are singing the same version as them.
They are the 5th grade chorus we talked about from New York City.

Remember: The Tenors (my group) always have the lower part, and the Altos (Mrs. Conlon's group) always have the higher part!

We're Back!
So glad to be back in school! I think we all were starting to get cabin fever after 10 straight days off!!
Looking forward to getting back to "normal". Our next rehearsal will be Monday, January 24, from 3-4pm!

Snow/Ice Days!
As you can tell by the view outside my window, we did not have school this entire week. So no chorus :(.
Next Monday, we don't have school for MLK day, so it won't be until Jan 24 until we get the group back together again! Oh well, Snow happens!

First Rehearsal 1/3/11
Well I thought I would begin a "blog" about this year's chorus.
It is the largest chorus ever assembled at our school, and I'm thinking it's going to be a great year!
Before I forget, I want to thank Mrs. Conlon for all her help! There is no way we could do what we do without her help each week!
Panther Pride Chorus is officially 128 students strong this year!! - 75 5th graders, and 53 4th graders!
Another cool fact---we have 30 boys this year! Much more than in years' past!!
We had our first rehearsal on Monday, and we had a blast!
We worked on John Lennon's "Imagine" and made lots of progress.
We are exploring a lot of harmony singing this year, which can be very difficult...
but we are doing great!!
Other Possible songs this year include:
Coldplay "Viva la Vida"
Taio Cruz "Dynamite"
Doobie Brothers "Drift Away"
"Let there be Peace on Earth"
and others...!
